John Brotherton is BACK! On Wednesday, July 27^th, the former Hall of Flame owner opens his trailer as Brotherton Barbeque for a BBQ Popup and Tap Takeover at The Growler Bar. John Brotherton will provide a wide variety of BBQ favorites and specialty items. The Growler Bar will provide the venue and Independence Brewing will supply favorites such as Austin Amber, Stash IPA and the World Beer Cup’s Gold Medal winner Power and Light Pale.

Not only is Brotherton Barbeque selling some of the best BBQ in Texas, but he has also teamed up with food truck royalty such as Hey!… You Gonna Eat or What?, Fried and True and the Celia Jacob’s Cheesecake Experience to provide a nice twist on some classic recipes. John will be using the Cherry Fig Jelly from Hey! You Gonna Eat or What? as a spritz on his ribs; Chocolate Covered Bacon from Fried and True; and a new flavor of cheesecake, Bananas Foster, will debut from the Celia Jacob’s Cheesecake Experience. Sound good? There’s only one way to find out…

Brisket, Chopped Beef and Turkey are made with Pflugerville’s own Lil Mama’s buns.

SAUSAGES

Mild Sausage are hand made from 100% ground brisket.

Tres Amigos is made with jalapeño, green chili, chipotle, and monterey jack cheese.

The Growler

Scratch made sausage topped with wasabi coleslaw and a mustard sauce consisting primarily of Independence Brewing’s Stash IPA and mustard.

BOUDIN

Étouffée Boudin is a mix of crawfish étouffée and boudin that is stuffed and smoked.
